REGISTERING NEW DOMAIN NAME

We don’t offer domain names for sale commercially on our website, however we can register domains for you, transfer them to our platform for you and add them to your control panel, so that you have everything under your control all under one roof. This can be done at the time of taking out any hosting package, or transferred at a later date.

Any domain registered on your behalf, or transferred to our platform, will remain under your control and be registered in your name. Unlike some providers, we do not register under our name nor place any restrictions on their control – you will be completely free to control the domain, from the contact details to owner registration to nameserver to transferring. So, if at any time you want or need to amend details or transfer, then you are free to do so from your control panel, without any need to contact us first.

POINTING YOUR DOMAIN NAME TO HOSTING

So, you’ve opened your hosting account and already have a domain name registered elsewhere –
then you simply need to amend your domain’s nameservers to our details.

You need to amend the nameservers to:

ns1.stackdns.com
ns2.stackdns.com
ns3.stackdns.com
ns4.stackdns.com

Some providers only allow 2 nameservers – but update as many as your domain registrar will allow.

Domain nameservers should update almost immediately, but can take up to 24 hours to go through. You can work in your hosting account ahead of nameservers updating and when they go through, your hosted files will go live.
